Brain Awareness Week 2023

During Brain Awareness Week, two sorts of events were planned. The first activity was organized to teach kindergarten children about the brain. The second exercise aimed to teach high school students about the brain's functions, stress, and stress management strategies.

The 21st National Psychology Congress: From Ancient Psyche to Cognitive Neuroscience

We prepared oral and poster presentations for the 21st National Psychology Congress, which took place from October 13 to 16.

Brain Awareness Week 2022

Within the scope of the brain and awareness week, the basic functions of the brain were explained to the nursery students through the presentation and the brain hat. Coloring was done by dividing the brain into lobes with the children.

Fechner Day 2019 The 35th Annual Meeting of the International Society for Psychophysics

Akdeniz University Psychology Department hosted the 35th International Psychophysics Meeting held on 30 October-2 November 2019. Scientists and distinguished speakers from different parts of the world attended the meeting.

Neuroscience Symposium from the Perspective of Different Disciplines

The "Neuroscience Symposium from Different Disciplines" took place on October 5-6, 2017, featuring scientists from Turkey and overseas working in various neuroscience disciplines.

Painting and Crafts Workshop on Human Brain

Researchers Felix Ströcken and Stephanie Lor from Ruhr University Bochum Department of Biopsychology came to our department on 15-19 May 2017 and organized a workshop called “Painting and Crafts Workshop on Human Brain”. It is intended that the students learn neuroanatomy more effectively by drawing and modeling brains using play dough.
