The Cognitive Neuroscience laboratory investigates the connection between the brain and behavior. It focuses on the neurological foundations of cognition, with study on issues such as executive functions, face perception, emotional expressions, the mirror-neuron system, multi-sensory perception, and the integration of visual and tactile data. In our lab, we use a variety of methodologies, including EEG, EMG, GSR, and behavioral experiments. At the same time, projects are being carried out in collaboration with other institutes that use UP and  fMRI.

The Akdeniz University Psychology Department Research and Application Laboratory was created in 2015 with funding from the Akdeniz University Rectorate and the Antalya University Support Foundation. The laboratory contains computers that use SuperLab software to program experiments and collect data. In addition, there are E-Prime 2 and E-Prime 3 test programs for designing customized tests.

In our laboratory, we use 64-channel Brain Vision EEG equipment to assess the electrical activity of the brain. In our tests, we also used a galvanic skin resistance sensor and an electromyogram to detect electrodermal activity.
